Raminder Kaur: An Artist Who Paints Emotions On The Canvas.

“Art is unquestionable one of the purest and highest elements in human happiness. It trains the mind through the eye, and the eye through the mind. As the sun colours flowers, so does art colour life.”

Art is one such raft that serves as a perfect panacea to save our sanity. Artists have been playing a pivotal role in shaping human experience and culture since time immemorial through creating breathtaking works of art. For some artists, art is a candid attempt to make life slightly more bearable. For others, it is a spiritual practice to make their soul grow. To practice art, one does not need to be perfect. You may simply sing while in the shower, tell stories, dance to the random music you hear or may simply write a poem to your loved one, even an imperfect poem.
When you strive to create art, your soul experiences a beautiful reward, a reward of highest gratification that you have created something. Art is indeed something that empowers you to breathe altogether an unusual kind of happiness. Raminder Kaur is a living exemplary of the same who found solace in art while seeking healing and in due process, she became an artistic healer.

Born and brought up in Saharanpur (UP), Raminder Kaur already had a knack for art since childhood. However, her penchant for art grew stronger when she entered her teenage life. The demise of her mother marked a turning point in her life and from there she began devoting more time to her art. M.A and B.Ed qualified, she pursued an advance P.G Diploma from the Indian School of Psychology. She has garnered over 10 years of counselling experience in Child Psychology.

“Drawing things makes them seem more real and makes me feel more alive. It also makes me pin down and remember things landscapes, season, weather, occasions, incidents, people that would otherwise have melted from my memory.”
