You are a woman.
You are the fire!
You are all-conquering.
You are all-powerful!
You are Supreme!
You were not born to be a mere beauty queen!!”
Women empowerment is one such term that has been ruling through the roost across all social media landscapes creating ripples, buzz and whatnot. Ironically the majority of the women got besotted by this ear-appealing term and started joining the bandwagon to raise voice against inequality. While a few awakened ones discarded the entire notion of women empowerment outrightly as they were already conscious of their capabilities.
History is filled with an array of examples worldwide whenever a woman realized her power; no force in this world could stop her.
There goes a saying “you attract what you are”. Just take a glance around to recall a case of domestic abuse? Do not you see a fearful woman who is struggling with an inferiority complex, low self-esteem, lack of confidence and beyond? Especially, in developing and under-developed nations women are expected to lower their standards and hence they end up embracing whatever comes to their ways. However, things have begun changing dramatically off lately. Even rural women are now gaining insights into the real meaning of freedom representing a dignified life.
Empowerment is an all-inclusive phenomenon. Interference of Law, Government and resourceful Non-profit organizations alone cannot disrupt the mindset. Be it as Sports, Aviation, Innovation, Technology, Medicine, Politics, Literature, Engineering, Law and beyond, women, worldwide are carving a niche for themselves in all walks of life owing to their inherent realization of potential.
Discovering inherent strength is simply a matter of sheer determination leading you to the path that exclusively belongs to what you stand for. To sum up, the million-dollar question is that are we truly in need of the concept related to women empowerment? Or we are already empowered and it is simply a matter of gaining awareness of our emancipation?
“You are the shining light
which hides the darkness behind
You are the radiance
which transforms everyone’s mind.”
